This position is in our Strategic Deterrent Systems Division to execute the Engineering and Manufacturing Development phase of the Sentinel Program.This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. The primary objective of this role is to collaborate across Systems Engineering, System Test, Global Supply Chain, suppliers, and other Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to develop and review Electrical System hardware requirements, specifications, designs, trade studies, and analyses for the purpose of supporting incremental system maturity milestones and hardware deliveries. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every otherFriday off.You’ll Bring These Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in STEM field plus 8 years of experience, or Master's Degree in STEM field plus 6 years of experienceMust be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance with an in-scope investigation date within the last 6 yearsMust be eligible to obtain Enhanced Security Clearances (SAP) and a DoD Top Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needsAt least 1 year of proven demonstrated leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environmentMinimum 5 years’ experience in a combination of: Electrical Hardware design, Cable-Harness design, and wire schematic developmentFamiliar with Siemens Mentor Graphics Capital cable design tool or equivalentExperience with CAD skills with experience developing wire diagrams or electrical schematicsExperience in a technical leadership positionThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Systems EngineeringAt least 1 year of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule in an Electrical Design organization in a lead or managerial role1+ years Cost Account Manager and Program Scheduling experienceElectrical requirement verification experienceIntegration and Test development/execution experienceExperience with Team Center/CPLMExperience with Siemens Mentor Graphics Capital cable design tool or equivalentExperience leading TEMPEST or EMI efforts with integrated product teams (IPTs)Strong CAD skills with experience developing wire diagrams or electrical schematicsExperience designing, analyzing, and developing a power budget for an electrical power system of a military / aerospace systemExperience developing multi discipline system architecture for a military / aerospace systemMechanical engineering experienceWorking experience designing, troubleshooting (RCA) and/or implementing ground power systems, facility power systems and/or launch power systems.Revit experience.Experience with high-power and/or high-frequency systems, including power electronics.Knowledge of EMI/EMC design, shielding techniques, and thermal management for electronic systems.Authorship and release of engineering documentation including technical drawings, specifications, and test procedures.Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes, milestone reviews, and government contracting.Experience maintaining and reporting status of program activitiesElectrical Professional Engineering (P.E.) licensePrimary Level Salary Range: $139,100.00 - $208,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
