The successful candidate will be responsible to accomplish sales goals that further cement our expertise and experience in the local market and surrounding area.

Responsibilities include:

• Heavy new lead generation via phone, email and face-to-face encounters
• Generating new sales opportunities and introducing our expanded service portfolio to existing customers
• Achieving a monthly sales quota and providing projections based on a sales funnel
• Creating opportunities and documenting milestones in our CRM
• Preparing quotes and contracts for in-person presentation
• Working closely with other departments to provide the best solution to meet the customer needs
• Building relationships with chambers of commerce, economic development groups and other community centered organizations to ensure our capabilities are top of mind
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.
• BA/BS Degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred
• Established residency in Pennsylvania and ability to come into the Palmerton office as required
• Valid PA Driver's License and good driving record
• Previous experience in Sales
• Previous experience in the Telecommunications Field
• Familiarity with the local county and surrounding area
• A good working knowledge of desktop computer applications
• A good working knowledge of networking and using the internet
• An understanding of the technology behind Wi-Fi, routers and switches recommended
• An understanding of telephony technology including SIP, POTS, PRI and hosted voice solutions recommended
• An understanding of Ethernet networking and WAN recommended
• An understanding of cable modems recommended
• Exceptional lead generation skills (cold calling, canvassing, networking)
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills
• Negotiation and project strategy skills
