Southeast-Based (AL, GA, SC) Territory Sales Manager — VERVE

VERVE is hiring a Southeast-based Territory Sales Manager to lead non-standard auto insurance agency growth and performance across Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina. This role combines a base salary with variable compensation, a strong benefits package, and real room to grow — both personally and professionally.

You'll own the agency relationships across your three-state territory: setting the strategy, building the plans, and doing the face-to-face work that turns independent agencies into high-performing VERVE partners.

What you'll do

\n

\n
• Lead the agency management process across your territory, keeping it aligned with regional goals.
\n
• Build actionable account plans for each agency alongside your management team.
\n
• Manage day-to-day agency relationships, directing your time and resources based on each agency's plan, needs, and strategic importance.
\n
• Train and educate agencies on VERVE's nonstandard auto insurance policies, products, and objectives on an ongoing basis.
\n
• Have direct, candid conversations with underperforming agencies to help turn their business around.
\n
• Execute agency account plans and regularly check progress against them for both VERVE and the agency.
\n
• Spot when an agency is falling short of its objectives and proactively map out next steps.
\n
• Prospect new agencies and bring them on board.
\n
• Represent VERVE at industry meetings and trade shows.
\n

What you bring

\n

\n
• Two to four years of experience in insurance agency management or sales; nonstandard auto carrier experience is a plus.
\n
• Licensed Insurance Agent or P&C license a plus, not required.
\n
• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
\n
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
\n
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
\n
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
\n
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and comfortable owning monthly sales goals.
\n
• Ability to work independently from a home office based in or near Atlanta.
\n

Travel:

\n

This role involves periodic overnight travel across Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina, plus regular representation of VERVE at industry events and trade shows.
