Work Environment

This position offers an onsite work setting within our advanced Rehabilitation Center, allowing you direct interaction with your patients. The ideal candidate will join a warm and welcoming team committed to excellence in patient care. Our well-structured schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, creating a balanced work-life dynamic conducive to personal well-being and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs and set achievable functional goals to facilitate recovery.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized and focused attention.
• Utilize your orthopedic outpatient experience to provide impactful treatment.
• Implement cost-effective therapeutic interventions that prioritize mobility enhancements.
• Encourage patients to embrace non-surgical alternatives, fostering a reliance on holistic recovery methods.
• Create customized care plans utilizing varied treatment techniques and modalities.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapy license in Lynchburg, VA, with no disciplinary actions reported.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Experience in developing effective, individualized exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software like WebPT to ensure seamless documentation.

Compensation and Benefits
