Ascove Fitness and Rehab, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at our onsite rehabilitation facility in Lynchburg, Virginia. This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Work Environment

You will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, primarily within our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Lynchburg, Virginia. Our typical schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care to each patient, thoroughly assessing their unique needs and setting specific rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a carefully balanced caseload, ensuring dedicated time to interact effectively with each individual and monitor their progress diligently.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, applying specialized techniques to enhance patients' physical capabilities.
• Implement cost-effective treatment plans that focus on improving mobility and movement while minimizing reliance on surgical interventions when possible.
• Develop and adjust comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of treatment modalities, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education.
• Create customized fitness and wellness programs tailored to meet the specific needs of patients, facilitating their journey towards recovery.
• Employ evidence-based interventions to deliver effective and impactful care.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, cultivating a positive therapeutic relationship.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle by enhancing patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and integrated care for optimal patient outcomes.
• Continuously assess patient progress, documenting treatment effects and adjustments made to care plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient treatments and progress to ensure seamless care delivery and compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• A pristine license status, free of any sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Expertise in various manual therapy modalities and the ability to implement these techniques effectively.
• Proven success in designing and executing effective exercise programs tailored for diverse patient needs.
• Proficient in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, particularly Web PT, for accurate documentation and patient tracking.
• A strong commitment to staying current with the latest research-supported physical therapy techniques and methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Experience in sports rehabilitation is a plus, providing an added layer of context for patient treatment.
• Strong interpersonal skills that enable effective communication with patients and team members.
