Work Environment

The role will be based onsite in our outpatient office, where you will work alongside a collaborative team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately identify patients' needs and set tailored goals for their recovery.
• Utilize a variety of treatment modalities to develop and implement individualized care plans focused on improving motion and mobility.
• Provide evidence-based interventions that promote rehabilitation while reducing reliance on medications and preventing the need for surgical alternatives.
• Educate and inspire patients, fostering motivation and engagement throughout their treatment program.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, evaluating the effectiveness of interventions and adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient care services in accordance with industry standards and organizational policies.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients requiring orthopedic rehabilitation, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal disorders. Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Virginia Physical Therapist license.
• No history of disciplinary action or board actions against your license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a solid foundation in therapeutic exercises.
• Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient physical therapy setting is required.
• Specific proficiency in sports medicine and rehabilitation techniques is preferred.
• Experience with creating and implementing wellness-oriented programs tailored to individuals.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging between USD 90,000 and 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
