Hourly Pay Range: The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $23-28 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.


Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Schedule: 8a-8p or 8p-8a

Job Summary:

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is hiring for a temp-to-hire Extruder Operator opportunity with a leading manufacturer in Sutton, MA. This role is ideal for candidates with manufacturing or extrusion experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment and take pride in producing high-quality products. Operators are responsible for setting up, monitoring, and troubleshooting extrusion equipment while ensuring production goals and quality standards are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust blown film extrusion equipment to meet production and quality standards.
• Load raw materials, monitor machine settings (temperature, pressure, speed, etc.), and make process adjustments as needed.
• Perform routine quality inspections, document production data, and identify and troubleshoot equipment or process issues.
• Follow all safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, and communicate effectively with production and maintenance teams.

Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing experience required; blown film extrusion or plastics manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot production equipment.
• Ability to read and complete production documentation and follow written work instructions.
• Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Must be able to work a rotating 12-hour schedule, including weekends and every other Thursday.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
