Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, utilizing standardized assessment tools to accurately gauge their physical capabilities and specific therapy needs.
• Develop and regularly update personalized treatment plans based on ongoing patient assessments, incorporating innovative modalities and therapeutic techniques.
• Administer various treatment methods and modalities, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and electrotherapy, to address individual patient impairments.
• Track patient progress meticulously, documenting changes in condition, and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about exercises and home programs tailored to promote independence and facilitate long-term wellness.
• Engage in regular interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff to deliver holistic and coordinated healthcare.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, ensuring the highest quality of care is provided in alignment with state and federal guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population of patients dealing with orthopedic injuries, musculoskeletal disorders, and post-surgical rehabilitation needs. Our patient base includes individuals of various ages, with a significant proportion being active adults seeking to maintain or regain their physical function. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding them towards achieving their rehabilitation goals and enhancing their overall daily activities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; advanced degrees such as a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution are preferred.
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective interactions with patients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is required, with a focus on orthopedic patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education.
