Locums Neurosurgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Locums Neurosurgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide inpatient coverage in Richmond, Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative neurosurgery team and provide post-procedural care to adult and geriatric patients.
Position Highlights
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Weekend Requirements: None
Setting: 100% inpatient
Patient Population: Adult and geriatric
EMR: Epic
Responsibilities
Provide post-procedural daily patient care
Perform inpatient rounding and ongoing patient management
Communicate with patients and families regarding treatment plans and care
Provide patient and family education
Collaborate closely with the neurosurgery team
Work alongside an employed Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner
Participate in call coverage as required
Requirements
Board Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Active Virginia license required at the time of submission
Candidates needing to obtain a Virginia license will not be considered
Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
Active DEA required
