Work Environment

As an onsite practitioner within our rehabilitation facility, you will work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, case managers, and mental health specialists. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments to evaluate patient needs and develop effective, individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and adjust intervention strategies aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including manual therapies, therapeutic exercises, and patient education, to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to ensure a cohesive treatment approach and effective information sharing.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve established rehabilitation goals.
• Provide education and support for patients and families regarding rehabilitation processes, exercises, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Document treatment interventions and patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in case discussions, team meetings, and continuing education opportunities to stay current with industry advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The rehabilitation facility primarily serves adults experiencing a variety of physical health challenges, including post-surgical recovery, chronic pain conditions, sports injuries, and neurological disorders. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• Strong foundational knowledge of human anatomy, pathophysiology, and therapeutic techniques.
• Demonstrated skills in patient assessment and evidence-based treatment planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building therapeutic relationships with patients.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
