Gulf Side Physical Therapy is actively seeking a committed and duly licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dedicated team in Fremont, California. In this full-time role, you will utilize your expertise to assess and treat patients facing diverse physical challenges. Work Environment

This role is situated at our Fremont Rehabilitation Center, an inviting space that promotes healing and recovery. Our clinic operates from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a stable schedule that supports a strong work-life balance. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team comprising physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation specialists to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough, individualized evaluations to understand each patient's unique physical condition and needs.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans incorporating manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities suited to various rehabilitation goals.
• Monitor and document patient progress systematically in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, ensuring real-time tracking of outcomes and adjustments.
• Offer hands-on therapy through specialized techniques to aid recovery and restore function.
• Educate patients and their families on recovery techniques and injury prevention strategies to empower them in their rehabilitation journey.
• Participate in regular interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient cases, share insights, and enhance the collective approach to care quality.
• Uphold compliance with all California Physical Therapist licensing regulations and documentation standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a member of our team, you will serve a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our clientele ranges from active adults seeking sports rehabilitation to elderly patients focused on maintaining mobility and independence. This variety ensures a stimulating work experience where no two days are alike.

Qualifications

• A valid California Physical Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain one).
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills essential for effective patient interactions.
• Proficient in utilizing EMR systems for documentation purposes.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates with a strong commitment to learning are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with outpatient, orthopedic, or sports rehabilitation settings is advantageous.
• Bilingual candidates (Spanish, Mandarin, or Tagalog) are highly valued.

Preferred Experience

We are particularly interested in candidates who have hands-on experience in outpatient physical therapy and understand the nuances of orthopedic care. Those with specialized training or certifications in sports rehabilitation will find their expertise greatly beneficial in our practice.

Compensation and Benefits
