Located in Fremont, California, Capital Life Orthopedics specializes in providing high-quality orthopedic care within a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot facility dedicated to sports medicine. Our practice is committed to serving a diverse patient population primarily covered by private medical insurance. With a team consisting of two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), we emphasize collaboration and continuous development in delivering effective patient outcomes.

Work Environment

As an onsite Physical Therapist at Capital Life Orthopedics, you will work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, within our well-equipped facility that promotes a smooth patient experience. The atmosphere fosters teamwork and open communication, enabling you to collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to tailor treatment plans specific to each patient's needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient goals and requirements, effectively creating tailored therapy plans.
• Manage a patient caseload averaging one patient per hour to deliver focused and personalized care.
• Provide evidence-based interventions that minimize reliance on medications and promote non-surgical treatments.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy and exercise programming, to enhance patient mobility.
• Develop customized fitness and wellness programs that encourage patients to adopt healthy lifestyles.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment strategies as needed, and maintain meticulous documentation of care provided.
• Communicate openly with patients about their treatment, ensuring they feel empowered throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Capital Life Orthopedics, our primary focus is on orthopedic outpatient care, catering to a diverse range of patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their movement. The patient population includes individuals motivated to enhance their physical abilities and regain optimal performance. You will play a crucial role in guiding patients through personalized rehabilitation programs, ultimately contributing to their recovery and long-term well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Active Physical Therapist license in California with no disciplinary actions recorded.
• Strong skills in manual therapy techniques, complemented by a proven ability to design and implement effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient care setting is highly desirable, providing insight into the unique needs of this patient demographic.
• Experience utilizing evidence-based practices to optimize treatment outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
