Baker's Field Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Fremont, California. Located in the heart of Fremont, our outpatient facility spans a state-of-the-art 5,000 square feet dedicated to sports medicine and rehabilitation. Baker's Field Therapy Services is committed to delivering outstanding care tailored to each patient's needs. We prioritize high-quality treatment in a supportive environment, focusing on personalized interventions that enhance our clients' quality of life. Our team consists of two experienced Physical Therapists and a Physical Therapy Assistant, all working collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Work Environment

This position is an onsite role based at our modern facility, where you will work closely with patients and healthcare professionals in a collaborative atmosphere. The environment is designed to facilitate effective treatment with specialized areas for functional rehabilitation, therapeutic exercise, and manual therapy. Your work schedule will be from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, providing a stable work-life balance while meeting the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and address the individual goals and needs of patients, ensuring personalized treatment plans that support their rehabilitation journey.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, focusing on quality and evidence-based care.
• Utilize advanced techniques in orthopedic outpatient therapy, providing cost-effective strategies that enhance mobility and functional movement.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that may include manual therapy, exercise programming, and educational components aimed at helping patients opt for non-surgical treatments.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment sessions to promote adherence to therapeutic exercises and lifestyle changes.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, using electronic medical records (EMR) software such as WebPT to maintain accurate records and facilitate communication.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes, enhancing the multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation.
• Educate patients on strategies for injury prevention, lifestyle modifications, and management of pain as part of a holistic approach to health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with patients who have orthopedic conditions and injuries, many of whom are covered by private medical insurance. You'll encounter a diverse patient population, ranging from athletes seeking to restore peak performance to individuals recovering from surgeries or chronic conditions that affect their daily lives.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current, active licensure as a Physical Therapist in California, with no disciplinary actions recorded against the license.
• Strong foundational skills in manual therapy techniques and the ability to create tailored exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, to document patient interactions and treatment outcomes effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• A background in sports medicine or rehabilitative therapies will be advantageous.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry best practices.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 125,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
