Wage: $19.00/hr
Shift: 1st
Hours: 06:00 am - 04:30 pm M-TH and OT on Fridays
Powder Coater Responsibilities:
- Set up and operates equipment and machinery such as powder coating, and assorted power and hand tools.
- Practices quality control for finished products.
- Performs routine maintenance functions and troubleshoots powder coating machinery.
- Job rotation with other powder coaters
- Participate in 5s activities.
Requirements for Powder Coater:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of powder coating experience
- Must be able to lift repetitively up to 50 lbs to head level.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to set up and operate powder coating equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ability to follow work instructions, production schedules, and quality standards.
- Understanding of powder coating processes, coating thickness requirements, and finish quality expectations.
- Ability to identify coating defects and take corrective action when needed.
