Our client is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile software development teams delivering critical business applications and driving enterprise modernization initiatives. The role is approximately 90% Scrum Master and 10% project management. The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, coach teams on Agile practices, and coordinate with cross-functional partners. The environment includes application modernization and initiatives with potential AI-related impacts. Candidates will collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, and leadership to maintain delivery focus, manage risks, and improve Agile maturity.

Rate: $65.00 to $75.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile application development teams.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

• Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to maintain a healthy backlog aligned to business objectives.

• Remove impediments and proactively address risks and issues impacting delivery.

• Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement.

• Support Agile transformation initiatives and guide teams through maturity growth.

• Track progress, metrics, and delivery outcomes using Jira and Confluence.

• Foster collaboration between development teams, business partners, leadership, and vendors.

• Assist with project planning, status reporting, risk management, and stakeholder communications.

• Support application modernization programs and strategic technology initiatives, including emerging AI-related projects.

Experience Requirements:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.

• Six or more years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.

• Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile frameworks with iterative delivery.

• Experience leading or supporting Agile transformation and adoption.

• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.

• Effective facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

• Preferred: PMP certification.

• Preferred: Experience supporting AI-enabled or AI-related initiatives.

• Preferred: Experience in large-scale enterprise application development environments.

• Preferred: Background balancing Scrum Master responsibilities with light project management activities.
