Senior Director, Global Patient Safety Science

Revolution Medicines seeks a Senior Director of Global Patient Safety Science to oversee pharmacovigilance and safety strategy across its oncology portfolio. The role leads safety surveillance, risk management, and regulatory submissions while collaborating across clinical, regulatory, and business functions to ensure robust benefit-risk assessments throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety surveillance and medical review of individual case safety reports across portfolio
• Lead development and implementation of safety surveillance strategies and risk management plans
• Provide medical-scientific input into clinical study design, protocols, and regulatory submissions
• Prepare and present safety data summaries and analyses to internal and external stakeholders
• Establish collaborative relationships with clinical teams, CROs, and regulatory authorities on safety matters

Requirements

• Extensive pharmacovigilance and drug safety expertise with demonstrated leadership experience
• Medical or scientific degree with advanced training in pharmacovigilance or clinical safety
• Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements for safety submissions and risk management
• Experience with safety signal detection, risk mitigation strategies, and clinical trial oversight
• Proven ability to manage complex safety data analyses and communicate findings to stakeholders
• Strong collaborative skills across cross-functional teams and external partners
