Revenue Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities

Manage monthly quarterly and annual reporting cycles for key client accounts ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
Prepare financial statements and reporting packages including income statements balance sheets and cash flow reporting.
Analyze profit and loss accounts investigate variances and resolve discrepancies in partnership with Finance and Sales.
Oversee revenue recognition activities for key accounts collaborating with technical accounting and business teams to ensure proper treatment.
Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations including cash accounts receivable deferred revenue accounts payable and accrued expenses.
Partner with Finance Sales and Treasury to improve collections monitor outstanding balances and support cash flow objectives.
Research accounting matters and assist with technical accounting documentation as needed.
Work with internal stakeholders to resolve outstanding reconciliation items and improve the accuracy of financial records.
Identify opportunities to automate reporting strengthen data integrity and streamline recurring accounting processes.
Utilize ERP systems advanced Excel and reporting tools to improve financial analysis and reporting efficiency.
Support internal and external audit requests related to financial reporting and internal controls.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related discipline.
CPA preferred.
At least 5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience with a background in financial reporting and general ledger accounting.
Strong understanding of US GAAP revenue recognition and financial reporting principles.
Experience with ERP platforms such as NetSuite SAP Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables lookup functions and Power Query.
Exposure to business intelligence or data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with Finance Sales and other business partners.
Public accounting experience is a plus.
