Float Pool Position

For the present time, all RN roles will be expected to perform their own vital sign checks and blood glucose checks. Please ensure candidate cleared on float units, ratios and flexibility on scheduling. Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted. Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics. Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIH. General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: All Protentional MS, MS Tele, PCU diagnoses. Float required to all MS, MS/Tele, PCU units within the hospital. Ratio / Census: 1:4-5 PCU; 1:5-6 MS, MS Tele Unit. Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR. Scrub Color: Navy Blue. RTO: MAX 7 days. Weekends: Every other weekend (average 6 weekends in a 13-week contract). Floating: Required. Call Requirements: None. Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Years Eve/New Years Day. Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. Aya Offer only available if clinical pass within RTO guidelines + meets specific facility requirements. Locals Accepted - Same Rate. Please Note: Number of Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) Hours is determined by contract length (ex 8hrs for 8 week assignment; 19hrs for 19 week assignment).
