Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' mental health histories, tailoring treatment plans to their individual experiences and needs.

• Develop and implement strategic, evidence-based treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, utilizing modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to empower patients in processing their trauma, building coping strategies, and promoting emotional healing.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and allied health professionals to coordinate care, ensuring all aspects of a patient’s well-being are addressed.
\n
• Respond to crisis situations promptly, providing immediate support and intervention to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, fostering understanding and resourcefulness in navigating the recovery journey.
\n
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential records in compliance with legal regulations and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in ongoing personal and professional development, attending training sessions and staying updated on the latest research in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary clientele consists of individuals grappling with the debilitating effects of trauma, including survivors of recent and historical trauma, veterans, and those with PTSD. This role demands cultural sensitivity and understanding, as patients come from diverse backgrounds with varying experiences and expectations regarding mental health treatment. You will contribute to creating an affirming therapeutic space that acknowledges these differences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington is required.
\n
• Exceptional knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities, with an emphasis on resilience-building strategies.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy, respect, and a non-judgmental demeanor in all patient interactions.

• A high degree of professionalism and the ability to remain composed in crisis situations.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, with a specific focus on trauma recovery preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
