Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an ICU patient group according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care; monitor status and respond to changes promptly.
- Administer medications and therapies per orders; monitor for adverse effects and interactions.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; delegate tasks appropriately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, communicate the plan of care, and coordinate with other disciplines to optimize patient outcomes.
- Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Requirements
- Active RN license appropriate to practice in California
- 1 year ICU/critical care experience preferred
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced hospital setting
