Engineering Mechanic III

Position Summary The Engineering Mechanic III is an entry‑level role on our Facility Operations team at MultiCare Auburn Medical Center. In this position you will maintain and repair facility equipment and systems to ensure a positive experience for patients and families across our health system. Responsibilities Perform maintenance and major/minor repairs on facility equipment and systems. Conduct daily operations and initiate corrective actions as needed. Assist in training and mentorship of other staff. Collaborate with supervisors to obtain bids and inspections for externally run projects. Partner with a service‑oriented attitude and professional integrity. Requirements High school graduate or equivalent (preferred). Certificate of licensure in one or more of the identified areas is preferred. Accomplished in six of the following basic areas: electrical, plumbing/mechanical, machine shop, general building maintenance, steam distribution, electronics, pneumatic tube system, AGVS, CPD equipment, fire alarm initiation and suppression systems, medical gas, beds, and nurse call. Minimum three (3) years of maintenance experience. Current Washington State driver’s license and a safe driving record that meets MHS standards. Compensation & Benefits Pay range: $51.67 - $51.67 USD. Benefit package includes medical, dental, retirement, and paid time off. Additional details are available upon request.
