Account Executive (Canada) - SaaS/IoT, Build Your Own Vertical

At Keycafe, we’re looking for an Account Executive who thrives on creating new opportunities, closing deals, and owning an entire territory or industry segment. This isn’t account management or order processing — it’s a chance to be entrepreneurial inside a growing SaaS/IoT company and essentially build a business line of your own. What You’ll Do Own a market — you will be focused on a specific industry based on your prior experience, and you’ll be responsible for growing it as if it were your own business. Run high-impact demos that clearly show prospects how our SmartBox product solves their operational challenges. Drive the full sales cycle: prospecting, outreach, demos, negotiation, and close. Experiment and adapt — try new outreach methods, refine your pitch, and find creative ways to break through. Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth handoffs and long-term customer success. Who You Are 2+ years of B2B SaaS or high-velocity sales experience with a track record of consistently closing new business. A self-starter who’s energized by ownership — you don’t just run plays, you create them. Resilient and resourceful — you keep moving after rejection and find new ways to win. Passionate about learning products and showing customers how they can transform operations. Startup-minded — flexible, collaborative, and willing to contribute beyond your immediate role. Nice to Have Sales experience in industries like hospitality, property management, fleet/logistics, facilities/security, or government services. Background in IoT, access control, or hardware-enabled SaaS. Sales experience in first responder or energy sectors. Base salary $50k - $60k plus uncapped commission, expected OTE $85k - $100k.
