Key Responsibilities\n

  Conduct thorough mental health assessments and screenings to understand clients’ psychological needs and formulate personalized treatment strategies.

  Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals within our hospice care setting, many of whom are facing terminal illness and its accompanying mental health challenges. This role emphasizes compassionate engagement and therapeutic support for clients experiencing significant emotional distress, grief, and existential concerns. You’ll be entrusted with the responsibility of facilitating meaningful change, navigating sensitive topics and providing hope amidst challenging circumstances.

Qualifications\n

  A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

  A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred to ensure advanced knowledge and application of mental health practices.

  Minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, emphasizing hospice or palliative care settings.
