Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions including MBSR to clients seeking stress reduction, relaxation, and overall well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client stressors, challenges, and goals, which will inform your tailored mindfulness practices.

• Guide clients through various mindfulness techniques, including meditation and breathing exercises, to promote self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes on mindfulness, stress management strategies, and resilience-building techniques.

• Integrate mindfulness concepts into one-on-one therapy sessions to address specific mental health issues and support clients' growth.

• Collaborate effectively with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic treatment approaches for our clients.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client progress, mindfulness interventions, and evolving treatment plans.

• Commit to ongoing professional development, including personal mindfulness practice and attendance at advanced training sessions in mindfulness methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds who are seeking support for anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Maryland.

• A background in using mindfulness-based techniques within therapeutic settings is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
