Saber Power Services is a portfolio company of Greenbelt Capital Partners that provides fully integrated electrical power system services, including design, installation, testing, and maintenance of medium and high-voltage infrastructure for utility, renewable, and industrial markets. Saber Power Services seeks a professional, dedicated individual to serve as an Electrical Technician in Charlotte, NC. Duties and Responsibilities Assist and perform electrical testing services on power apparatus, substations, and switchgear, including (but not limited to) the following: Protective relaying and relaying systems Circuit Breakers Power Transformers Current and Potential Transformers Meters, Transducers, and power system metering Power Cables Grounding Systems Motors and Motor Starters Station Batteries and Chargers Alarm systems and Annunciators Personal Protective Equipment Always make safety a top priority, realizing that the company has Zero Tolerance for those who do otherwise Perform other job-related duties as requested by management. Qualifications AAS in Electrical or Electronics Technology or equivalent experience in the high voltage industry 0-4 years of experience in the high voltage industry Good mathematical skills Ability to travel 50% of the time Power DB knowledge is a plus Valid driver’s license Safety is a Core Value with our organization.
