About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Commercial for its new department, which is focused on launching cutting-edge initiatives in the field of photonics. The successful candidate will be part of an elite team and will have the opportunity to work in a high-growth environment, with a strong emphasis on achieving market validation and scalable traction. The role involves leading and executing core initiatives, translating strategic vision into execution roadmaps, and driving the implementation of scalable solutions. The Head of Commercial will be responsible for critical milestones that position the department for rapid growth and potential spin-off to attract institutional backing. Applicants for the Head of Commercial position should be based in Europe or the Americas, or be open to relocation or remote arrangements. The role requires excellent communication skills in English and the ability to work with a world-class team of engineers, researchers, and commercial leaders. The focus is on practical, hands-on execution, and the ideal candidate will be adept at working without the constraints of corporate red tape, with a strong emphasis on good ideas and fast execution.
