Job Description
The Dental Receptionist plays a vital role in supporting a small dental team of 2-5 members by managing both clinical and administrative tasks. This position involves occasional assisting the dentist chairside during procedures, taking x-rays, but mainly coordinating patient appointments, and handling front desk responsibilities with regular patient interaction. The ideal candidate will provide efficient insurance verification and billing support while fostering a welcoming environment for patients.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
- Assist dentist chairside during dental procedures
- Manage front desk reception duties
- Verify dental insurance coverage and benefits
- Support billing and invoicing processes
- Insurance Verification
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience as Dental Receptionist
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in chairside assistance and dental radiography
- Experience with patient scheduling and appointment coordination
- Effective communication and multitasking skills
- Bilingual in Spanish or Ukraine.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality control
