Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments and evaluations with couples and families, offering both joint and individual sessions to identify challenges and develop tailored therapeutic plans.

• Providing evidence-based therapies to address topics such as separation and divorce, grief and loss, family conflict, communication difficulties, and blended family dynamics.
\n
• Collaborating with other health professionals within our community health clinic to ensure comprehensive care and support for each patient.
\n
• Tracking progress and adjusting treatment plans dynamically in response to individual or family needs.
\n
• Utilizing telemedicine tools to facilitate remote therapy sessions, while also having the option for in-person client interaction as requested.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will encompass a diverse patient demographic, primarily focusing on couples and families navigating complex relational dynamics and family issues. This includes managing cases involving alcohol abuse, family conflict, job stress, and adjustment issues related to separation or divorce. Your goal is to support each family member individually while fostering a collective healing process aimed at achieving improved family functionality.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A valid and active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n
