Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity and impact of mood disorders, personal conflicts, and familial issues facing clients.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that are tailored to the specific needs, preferences, and goals of clients.

• Utilize established therapeutic frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective treatment.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, exploring treatment options and promoting healthy self-care practices.

• Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly, ensuring responsive care delivery.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care, ensuring holistic understanding and management of clients' mental health.

• Maintain updated knowledge of the latest research in mood disorders and therapeutic advancements to refine treatment approaches.

• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines through accurate documentation and client record maintenance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at WAN Psychological Wellness, you will primarily focus on clients dealing with relationship challenges and divorce issues. You will work with a diverse population of individuals and families, guiding them through difficult times and helping to restore harmony and understanding within their relationships. Your expertise will enable clients to navigate the emotional complexities of their experiences with professional guidance.

Qualifications\n

• Active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, or an equivalent field, is required.
