Join us as a Accounts Receivable Specialist Main Responsibilities Responsible for following up with customers, both internally and externally, to collect outstanding accounts receivable for assigned districts utilizing contract language, SAP, written communications, and outbound calls. Communicate with customers with a focus on reducing the overall accounts receivable for districts assigned through outbound calls or written communication. Document all customer communication and prepare any necessary documents. Participate and lead monthly conference calls with local districts to review top accounts impacting financial performance. Resolve customer disputes through contract review or negotiation and, if necessary, escalation. Meet or exceed financial targets set by direct supervisors. Track and file liens on properties and set up legal/collection files. Review unapplied payments to help resolve unclaimed property items for assigned districts. Maintain interdepartmental communication to achieve financial results. Assist and train new members within the area of activity. Work a flexible schedule and travel as required in accordance with assigned districts. What you bring Bachelor’s degree preferred; 2–4 years of relevant experience in customer service, accounting, or credit and collections; or an associate’s degree with 1–2 years of similar experience. Experience with customer service required. Collections/accounting experience required. Account management experience preferred. Experience as a supervisor or manager of a team preferred. Experience using SAP preferred. Good analytical, time‑management, and organizational skills necessary. Self‑motivation, strong follow‑up, and closure skills required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required. Benefits Fully vested 401(k) match, up to 7 % of total eligible compensation.
