Overview:

Client is seeking an experienced Epicor Manufacturing Transformation Consultant to provide independent oversight, strategic guidance, and operational optimization across a growing portfolio of manufacturing businesses.

This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, helping maximize the organization's investment in Epicor while driving standardized manufacturing processes, MRP adoption, reporting enhancements, and acquisition integration strategies across multiple facilities.

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of Epicor expertise, manufacturing operations experience, business process optimization, and executive-level consulting skills. This role will work alongside client Epicor implementation partner, providing objective recommendations and helping leadership make informed decisions regarding future Epicor investments, process improvements, and system utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct an independent assessment of the current Epicor environment, business processes, and operational workflows.
• Evaluate Epicor utilization across multiple manufacturing facilities and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Provide executive-level recommendations regarding Epicor capabilities, roadmap planning, and process improvements.
• Assess MRP effectiveness, scheduling practices, inventory planning, and manufacturing execution processes.
• Identify gaps in system adoption, process compliance, training effectiveness, and data governance.
• Review existing Epicor modules and help define a logical sequencing and rollout strategy for future module implementations.
• Develop recommendations for standardizing business processes across acquired companies and manufacturing locations.
• Support the creation of a scalable acquisition integration playbook for onboarding future facilities onto Epicor.
• Analyze reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and analytics capabilities, providing recommendations for improved operational visibility.
• Collaborate with the existing Epicor implementation partner while providing independent validation of proposed solutions and recommendations.
• Present findings, assessments, roadmaps, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and steering committee stakeholders.

Desired Experience:

• 8+ years of Epicor ERP experience, preferably Epicor Kinetic.
• Experience leading ERP optimization, transformation, or post-implementation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and MRP-driven environments.
• Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing organizations.
• Experience evaluating ERP adoption, process adherence, training effectiveness, and operational maturity.
• Background in process improvement, business transformation, or operational excellence initiatives.
• Experience developing ERP roadmaps, governance models, and executive reporting frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience working directly with implementation partners, system integrators, or consulting firms.

Preferred Experience:

• Aerospace & Defense manufacturing environments.
• AS9100 or highly regulated manufacturing industries.
• Acquisition integration and ERP standardization initiatives.
• Supply chain planning and production scheduling experience.
• Manufacturing KPI, dashboard, and reporting development.
• Organizational change management and user adoption initiatives.
