Chief Techology Officer, MD

Head of Platform, Engineering, Infrastructure & AI Systems Chief Technology Officer to join the founding leadership team of a new AI-native wealth platform in partnership with major financial institutions. The CTO will define the overall technology vision, platform architecture, engineering execution, AI and data infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operational resilience—building a scalable, secure, AI‑enabled platform for consumer‑scale users. The role is hands‑on and executive, responsible for advising the CEO and Board on strategy, investments, cybersecurity posture, and execution. Core Mission Build and scale a technology organization that delivers a platform operating securely, reliably, and 24×7 at consumer scale. Design systems for scalability, resilience, security, observability, and regulatory compliance from day one. Provide AI and data infrastructure that powers the wealth platform. Translate product, design, and AI requirements into production‑grade implementations. Attract and retain elite technical talent—engineers, architects, security professionals, SRE, and data engineers. Evolve architecture, organization, and operating model as the company scales. Establish engineering culture, standards, and operating cadence for long‑term execution. Required Experience Direct experience scaling platforms supporting millions of users. Strong computer science foundation with deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud architecture, networking, security, data platforms, and AI/ML infrastructure. Experience managing both infrastructure and application engineering organizations. Leadership Characteristics Builder of organizations, not merely products.
