Payroll Coordinator

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Payroll Coordinator for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Healthcare clients in Sacramento , CA . Responsibilities Process end-to-end payroll for a large employee population Process California payroll in compliance with state and federal regulations Process California final termination payments accurately and within required timelines Utilize Workday Payroll and Kronos to process payroll transactions Process payroll for union employees in accordance with collective bargaining agreements Review, validate, and reconcile payroll data for accuracy Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee pay issues Maintain payroll records and supporting documentation Ensure payroll deadlines are consistently met Support payroll audits and compliance initiatives Collaborate with Payroll leadership and internal business partners to resolve payroll-related issues Required Skills 2+ years of recent end-to-end payroll processing experience Experience processing payroll for organizations with 20,000+ employees Experience with California payroll processing and applicable state requirements Experience processing California final termination pay within required timelines Experience with Workday Payroll Experience with Kronos Experience processing union payroll and applying collective bargaining agreement requirements Ability to process high-volume payroll accurately while meeting strict deadlines Ability to research, reconcile, and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee pay issues Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, on a hybrid schedule in Sacramento, CA Preferred Skills Healthcare payroll experience Experience supporting large enterprise payroll operations Payroll compliance and auditing experience Familiarity with LotusOne or similar workforce management systems Strong communication skills and ability to partner with internal stakeholders SGA is a technology and resource solutions provider driven to stand out.
