This position will be based at our Salt Lake City, Utah facility. This person will contribute to the company's success by performingassembly operations on a variety of LRU's (Line Replaceable Units), CCA's (Circuit Card Assemblies) and System products. This role will report directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor andis responsible forsuccessfully assembling or repairing L3Harris products for delivery.Essential Functions:Completes manufacturingassemblyin compliance with quality specifications, providing mentoring tolower leveltechniciansExperience assemblingelectro-mechanical productsusing hand tools(screwdrivers, wrenches, socket drivers,torque drivers, crimping tools) Implements and provides feedback for operation sequence, and the ability to achieve manufacturing requirements and specificationsExperiencesolderingelectro-mechanical components (CCA, cable build)Corrects manufacturing failures bymaking adjustments, or replacing parts or components as directedPerforms continuous improvement projects targeting waste affecting product quality, cost, and schedule or other items of value to the businessMaintain professional standards of performance, demeanor, and judgmentat all timesas detailed incompany policy and procedureAssist Manufacturing Process Engineering on trends, rootcausesand corrective actionsAdherence to L3Harris policies and procedures, including but not limited to, calibration of equipment, ESD (electrostatic discharge), FOD (foreign object debris/damage) and general housekeeping.Works under limited supervisionOther responsibilities as assigned by ManagementQualifications:Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of6years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degreewith 2 years of prior related experience.Preferred Additional Skills:Support OT (nights, weekends, extended hours) as needed to meet schedule requirements and businessneedsExperience in prototype and first time build processesKnowledgeable in manufacturing process improvement through adoption of more efficient methods using tools such as, lean, six sigma, just do it, and TOC techniques Demonstrated ability tocomprehendschematics, logic drawings, layouts, wire lists, and printsAble tolift upto 32 lbs. independentlyExperience with SAP, SAPME,TeamCenterenterprise resource planning and lifecycle management software L3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
