Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Baylor Physical Therapy, your responsibilities will include:

• Directing physical therapy treatment plans to alleviate pain, prevent disability, improve muscle functionality, and enhance the patient's performance based on their individual needs.
• Overseeing the work of Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure that the prescribed plan of care is accurately implemented.
• Evaluating each client's level of function through various diagnostic tests and assessments, including muscle and joint evaluations.
• Assessing home environments to identify needed adaptations for therapy and recommending strategies to enhance client independence.
• Providing skilled physical therapy services as per physician directives within a patient-centric, friendly environment.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and physical agents like traction and massage, employing advanced manual therapy techniques.
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team in care conferences, making essential adjustments to treatment plans based on patient progress.
• Documenting clinical records meticulously, including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Educating patients and their families on the management and utilization of prescribed therapy devices, fostering an understanding of the entire rehabilitation process.
• Maintaining compliance with state regulations and organizational policies concerning documentation and care delivery.

The clients at our Clearwater Rehabilitation Center vary widely in age, ability, and goals. You will work with individuals experiencing various physical challenges, including post-surgical recovery, chronic pain, neurological conditions, and restorative care after injury. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a valid physical therapy license in the State of Florida.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering superior patient care.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make informed decisions regarding patient treatment.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
