Created by Palm Tree Crew, the global lifestyle brand co-founded by Kygo and Myles Shear, Palm Tree Club is where great music meets great hospitality. ABOUT CHIEF'SChief's on Broadway is a six-story bar and live music venue celebrating the ever-expanding musical legacy of Eric Church. Set in the heart of downtown Nashville, Chief's brings together music, design, and culinary offerings for an unmatched entertainment experience in Music City. The first floor houses a broadcast studio, home to Church's Outsiders Radio on SiriusXM, with the capability to host programming from a range of media partners. Food and drink are available throughout the venue, along with a new street-facing frozen Greek yogurt walk-up window from Nashville-based Culture Club. The third and fourth floors hold a ticketed live music venue that has hosted residencies from Eric Church, among others. The VIP Host, at all times, is an example of hospitality and service while assuming full responsibility for supporting the guest experience, maintenance, cleanliness and organization of the venue.Tasks include, but are not limited to:Welcome guests to the venueSupport guests with providing directions to different levelsCheck-in and seating guests for the restaurantUsing the reservation system to check-in and seat guests for the restaurantUsing an in-depth knowledge of programming throughout the venue to answer questionsCheck-in guests for VIP experiencesFollow all Steps of Service and brand standardsCreate a hospitable, welcoming, and memorable experience for all guestsEnsure all Federal, State and City laws and ordinances are followed with regards to the handling and responsible sale of alcoholic beveragesEnsure par levels for all supplies including proper containers for both food and beverage serviceAttend trainings as mandated by the Leadership teamMaintain a well-groomed, professional, and polished appearanceKeep working knowledge of Chief's brand, history, culture, and programmingNavigate venue conditions, including tight spaces, dark rooms, and loud environmentEnsure all spaces are set according to plansMaintain daily inventories of all menus and music collateral throughout the venueMaintain an organized and clean workspaceEnsure that work areas are properly supplied for operational successMaintain positive guest engagement and create memorable experiencesTake initiative, follow-through on requests until completion, and utilize a keen attention to detailPerform other related duties as assigned by the Leadership team YOUR QUALIFICATIONSPrior hosting experience in a nightclub settingProven ability to work in a high-volume, fast paced restaurant, live music venue or similar environment preferredProven ability to work in a fast-paced, results- oriented, restaurant/bar/venue environmentExceptional guest service and hospitality skillsStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and work ethicExcellent interpersonal skills; able to work both as a team and independentlyAbility to take direction, and communicate effectively and professionallyAbility to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to perform physical requirements of position including standing for extended periods of time, kneeling, stooping, using stairs, able to lift loads of up to 50 lbs.Able to work rapidly, especially during peak periods to ensure that all guests are being serviced properly and necessary operational tasks are being completed in a timely mannerAbility to sustain loud noise volume WHO YOU AREWe are seeking a highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced but disciplined environment.
