Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans that align with their personal goals and therapeutic preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to address specific client needs.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to enhance overall well-being.

• Monitor and evaluate client progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on evolving needs and outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and ensure comprehensive support for clients.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in the field of mental health, particularly related to mood disorders, to continuously improve therapy approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
