Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children referred to our services, focusing on their developmental progress and needs.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring that our approaches align with each child's unique needs.

• Monitor and document client progress regularly, providing updates during team meetings to facilitate coordinated care.
\n
• Establish supportive relationships with children and their families, creating a trusting environment that encourages open communication and collaboration.
\n
• Deliver educational and emotional support to families, empowering them with tools and strategies that enhance their caretaking approaches.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all Federal and State regulations in the provision of social services, maintaining the highest ethical standards of practice.

• Facilitate training and workshops to promote understanding and implementation of Natural Learning Environment Practices among families and caregivers.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this role is primarily on children aged 0 to 3 years who are experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. These young clients may exhibit challenges in various areas, including physical development, cognitive abilities, social/emotional skills, and communication. Our LCSWs play a vital role in implementing early intervention strategies that support these children’s growth within the context of their families and communities.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program, or a Doctorate in Social Work.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) as recognized by the Department of Public Health.

• A valid driver’s license to facilitate potential home visits and community outreach.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to connect with children and families, showing empathy and understanding of diverse backgrounds and needs.

• Knowledge of developmental milestones and early intervention practices.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage documentation and case management software effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years’ experience specifically working with children in early intervention or similar roles.

Compensation and Benefits\n
