Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children to determine the need for early intervention services.
\n
• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) tailored to each child’s unique circumstances and developmental milestones.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate outcomes as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring that the needs of the child and family are being met effectively.
\n
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to families, offering resources and strategies to foster their child's growth and development.
\n
• Administer various developmentally appropriate assessments to gauge progress in key areas: physical, social/emotional, cognitive, and communication skills.
\n
• Develop strong rapport with children and their families to foster a positive learning environment conducive to development.
\n
• Lead discussions with families to create a joint plan, utilizing evidence-based practices and following Natural Learning Environment Practices.
\n
• Implement the IFSP effectively, providing recommendations on service frequency based on child development status and family priorities.
\n
• Utilize a coaching model to enhance learning within natural settings, ensuring that children get the most relevant support.
\n
• Maintain compliance with all Federal and State regulations to ensure the health and safety of clients and staff.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work closely with infants and toddlers experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. You will provide essential support not only to the children but also to their families throughout the critical early years of life, assisting them in navigating the complexities of early childhood development and available resources.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from the Department of Public Health of New Jersey.
\n
• A valid driver’s license for potential home visits or community outreach activities.
\n
• One year of experience working directly with children in early intervention settings.
\n
• Demonstrated understanding and commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices.
\n
• Strong adaptability to various learning styles and individualized treatment plans.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.

• Exceptional communication skills with both children and adults, fostering collaboration across teams.

Compensation and Benefits\n
