Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of patients to understand their mental health history and current challenges.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with patients’ needs, goals, and preferences, using evidence-based methodologies.

• Provide both individual and group psychotherapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic techniques relevant to a variety of mental health conditions.

• Perform crisis intervention as necessary, demonstrating quick decision-making skills to ensure patient safety and well-being.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and case managers, to create a cohesive care strategy for each patient.

• Participate actively in regular staff meetings and clinical supervision sessions to foster a collaborative, supportive team environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a diverse array of clients, which may range from children and adolescents to adults and families dealing with complex mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more. By providing culturally competent care, you will contribute to reducing stigma and increasing access to mental health services within underserved populations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license to practice clinical social work in the state of New Jersey.

• Proven experience in providing psychotherapy and emotional support to diverse populations experiencing mental health challenges.

• Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to empathetic patient care.

• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and telehealth technology to enhance service delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
