Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver high-quality virtual psychotherapy services to patients, focusing on complex emotional and psychological issues related to end-of-life care.

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique situation and needs.

• Provide ongoing support and counseling to clients and families, helping them navigate the challenges associated with hospice care.

• Utilize Evidence-Based Therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy to assist clients in coping with grief and loss.

• Document sessions and track client progress using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to ensure compliance and quality of care.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care tailored to individual circumstances, enhancing the client experience.

• Actively participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions provided by the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The population served in this role primarily includes adults aged 18 and older, especially those facing the difficulties associated with hospice and palliative care. An emphasis on providing sensitive, culturally competent support for diverse communities is essential, including the LGBTQIA+ population and minorities experiencing mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and active LCSW license to practice in the state of Colorado.
\n
• At least three years of post-licensure clinical counseling experience, with a focus on mental health.

• Possession of professional malpractice insurance.

• Prior experience providing psychotherapy to adult clients, specifically those dealing with grief and loss.

Compensation and Benefits\n
