Customer Marketing Manager at ZipRecruiter About the role This role drives enterprise customer growth through strategic marketing initiatives. You will build programs that deepen executive relationships, foster customer advocacy, and expand existing accounts, directly impacting revenue. Key facts Location: Santa Monica, CA / Remote Engagement: Full-time Team: Marketing What you'll do Develop and implement customer marketing strategies to support enterprise revenue targets, increase customer engagement, and facilitate account expansion. Collaborate with Sales and Account Management to identify key customer lifecycle opportunities and create scalable programs that strengthen executive relationships and uncover new revenue potential. Measure program success based on business outcomes such as pipeline influence, customer retention, account growth, customer engagement, and advocacy. Build and manage a customer advocacy program to highlight customer successes and their measurable business impact. Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Brand, PR, and Product Marketing to produce case studies, video testimonials, executive thought leadership, and sales enablement materials. Oversee the strategy and execution of the Talent All-Stars podcast, using customer conversations to build relationships, generate thought leadership, and share success stories. Design and execute executive engagement events, including customer summits, roundtables, and virtual experiences, from concept to completion. Lead the ZipRecruiter Customer Advisory Board, recruiting and engaging executive members to gather strategic insights and inform product and go-to-market strategies. Requirements Ability to travel up to 45%, including short notice and overnight trips. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Customer Marketing, Enterprise Marketing, Account-Based Marketing, Sales Enablement, or a similar B2B marketing function. Proven track record of developing programs that influence sales pipeline, improve customer retention, support account expansion, or boost customer advocacy. Solid understanding of enterprise sales cycles and how marketing can accelerate customer growth. Experience managing executive engagement programs, customer events, advisory boards, or customer advocacy initiatives. Strong storytelling abilities, capable of translating customer achievements into compelling narratives for sales and marketing. Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders across various departments. Analytical skills with experience measuring marketing performance against business objectives. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
