Gavin de Becker & Associates is a dynamic security firm innovating threat assessment and public figure protection. Our mission aims to protect and enhance the lives of those we serve, including many of the world's most influential people. From media figures and corporations to universities and women’s shelters, GDBA stands on the front line of the assessment, prediction, and management of violence. This is a full-time, entry-level Coordinator position in our Recruitment, Selection, and Outreach Division for candidates interested in pursuing a career in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or Operations. The role is based in San Antonio and will be a mixture of in-person work and remote work. Suitable candidates should be able to commute to North San Antonio, TX at least three times per week. Base compensation for this role ranges from $45k-$55k annually (commensurate with experience). You’re also a whiz at Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; you have a bag of tricks when it comes to using these programs. Nice To Have’s You've served in the role of an assistant before, and you are well-versed in anticipating needs and always being one-step ahead. You’re poised and self-assured. You feel comfortable enough to cold call someone you don’t know, or speak in front of a group of people, or step in to answer someone’s questions. You’re interested in recruiting – you’ve done it before, or you can envision enjoying the work. You’re comfortable with software, specifically the basic functionality of applicant and/or application management software. Assist with GDBA’s recruiting operations, including but not limited to: Post new jobs to GDBA's website and job boards; Schedule and facilitate video conference, webcam, and in-person interviews; Organize logistics for departmental events, including facilities coordination, travel arrangements, and schedule management. Work directly with our Manager to ensure operational success. Compile and present monthly reports, as needed. Provide administrative support and assist with other division projects, as needed.
