3rd Grade 4th Grade School Occupational Therapist - Cambridge, Massachusetts

A highly regarded school near Cambridge, MA, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide in-person services for a maternity leave assignment, with the flexibility of a hybrid schedule to best fit your availability. This is a contract position, open to both part-time and full-time candidates, starting April 13th, 2026 and extending through the end of the school year.


In this vital position, you'll work with a diverse caseload ranging from Kindergarten through high school, ensuring students in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades, as well as high schoolers, thrive academically and socially by addressing their occupational therapy needs.


Qualifications and Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Massachusetts
• Experience working with school-aged children across multiple grade levels
• Familiarity with providing support in both elementary and high school settings
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for various developmental stages
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and school staff
• Previous school-based experience is highly desirable

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to the unique needs of students from Kindergarten to high school
• Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to develop IEPs and intervention plans
• Document student progress, adjust treatment strategies, and participate in team meetings
• Provide direct and consultative services according to students' goals
• Offer flexible scheduling options, including part-time and hybrid models
