Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Nashville, Tennessee. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 14 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Medical Surgical with Telemetry specialty position located in Nashville, Tennessee. The role involves providing patient care in a Medical Surgical unit with telemetry monitoring. The position requires adherence to specific clinical protocols and the ability to read telemetry strips accurately. It is suited for qualified healthcare professionals prepared to work during upcoming holiday periods without reserved time off. Job Details: Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), CPI (or MAB), and NIHSS certifications. Ability to read telemetry strips. No minimum years of experience required. Additional Information: After three call outs, the contract will be terminated. Travelers will be tested prior to orientation on arrhythmia readings and heparin distribution; failure to pass will result in contract cancellation. Compliance clearance is required 10 days prior to orientation. Floating within the scope of practice may be required. Charge or preceptor duties may be assigned and will be reflected on the healthcare professional's timesheet. The facility can cancel one shift every four weeks during the contract period. Candidates must be willing to work upcoming holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year with no time off during those dates.
