Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct virtual psychotherapy sessions for adult clients utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to individual needs.

• Develop and implement treatment plans that include measurable goals and objectives, adjusting approaches as necessary based on client progress.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities, ensuring adherence to best practices and therapeutic innovations.

• Collaborate with other health professionals as needed to provide a comprehensive approach to clients' mental health care.

• Engage in marketing strategies to attract new clients while ensuring that existing clients receive the continuous care they need.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse adult population, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds and identities. Experience or comfort in supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals and addressing issues in men's mental health will be beneficial, though not mandatory. Your role in providing trauma-informed care and cultural competency will be essential to helping clients navigate their mental health challenges, fostering a safe and inclusive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Must possess an active LCSW license in the State of New York.

• A minimum of three years of post-licensure clinical counseling experience, demonstrating expertise in therapeutic modalities.

• Proficient in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and/or Psychodynamic Therapy techniques.

• Professional malpractice insurance is a requirement for this position.

• Relevant experience providing psychotherapy to clients aged 18 and older.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $85,000 to $104,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to financial compensation, our benefits package includes health and life insurance, malpractice insurance coverage, a wellness plan, and administrative support to help with billing and insurance processes, allowing you to concentrate on client care. A sign-on bonus is also offered for qualified candidates.
