Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to identify their unique mental health needs.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions tailored to the specific requirements of each patient, implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Maintain accurate and timely billing records, documentation, and individualized treatment plans, as well as process insurance authorization forms adhering to specified timeframes.
\n
• Develop comprehensive crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans that empower patients to achieve and sustain stable functioning in their lives.
\n
• Create discharge plans that facilitate smooth transitions for patients leaving treatment, ensuring they have the support they need moving forward.
\n
• Adhere strictly to all federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and NEHS policies and procedures to maintain compliance and best practices.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and continuing education to enhance your skills and knowledge.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings to foster collaborative problem-solving and sharing of best practices.
\n
• Fulfill all licensure and mandatory training requirements to ensure you remain a qualified and informed mental health professional.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse patient population, including children, adults, and families facing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal relationship challenges. Your role as a Mental Health Counselor is crucial in providing them with the necessary support and guidance to navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for state licensing.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) in the State of Arizona.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in community health settings or with diverse populations is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and licensure status.
