Material Handler III

Material HandlerThe Material Handler duties include, but are not limited to, loading, unloading and moving material in the warehouse.Responsibilities:Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelvesConveys materials to designated storage areasEffectively communicating with Table leads to facilitate efficient Material flowProactively identify damaged parts and call immediate attention to itFollow all safety procedures including proper usage of safety equipment and toolsMust demonstrate commitment, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to an agreed-upon schedule as determined by ManagerAdhere to all safety, OSHA guidelines, work rules and policies and focuses daily on housekeeping inside and outside of the facilityExhibits and adheres to the established VCC Core ValuesWorks effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problemsMust demonstrate commitment, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule while being present in the workplace to effectively collaborate and communicate amongst co-workers and teamsPerforms other duties as assignedRequirements:A minimum of 1 to 3 years of full-time industry experience in a warehouse, distribution center, order fulfillment center, logistics, supply chain operations or manufacturing environmentHigh school diploma or equivalentExperience with picking parts or components from work instructionsCurrent Forklift license and certification.
