Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $1500 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Ortho and/or trauma patient experience preferred.

Unit Details:
- Patient population includes polytrauma patients, nonsurgical cervical fractures cleared by spine, orthopedic and trauma services, downgraded traumatic brain injury (TBI) patients, patients with no more than 3 drains, and burn downgrades.
- Common drips include heparin and Protonix.
- Telemetry monitoring is used.

Shift & Scheduling:
- Four weekend commitments are required.

Floating Requirements:
- Floats to all medical-surgical units.
