Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and Assess Patients: Conduct thorough evaluations to analyze movement patterns, strength, range of motion, and physical limitations in relation to orthopedic conditions.
• Develop Personalized Treatment Plans: Collaborate with patients to craft customized rehabilitation plans that align with their recovery goals and physical capabilities.
• Implement Evidence-Based Treatment: Utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and neuromuscular techniques, to optimize patient recovery.
• Patient Education: Provide education regarding patients' conditions, expected outcomes, and create personalized home exercise programs that empower patients in their recovery journey.
• Track Progress: Monitor and document patient progress, utilizing functional outcome measures to adapt treatment as necessary, ensuring optimal recovery and satisfaction.
• Collaborate Effectively: Engage with physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and timely records of patient interactions and treatments, adhering to all regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
• Continued Professional Development: Pursue ongoing education opportunities, participate in workshops and seminars to remain informed about advances in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Valid California Physical Therapy License (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).

• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Exceptional organizational skills, ensuring attention to detail in patient care and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification is highly desirable.
• Experience in post-operative rehabilitation for orthopedic patients.
• Familiarity with modern treatment techniques, including but not limited to dry needling and ultrasound therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
